Revealed: LFC Dream Scene artwork available now

Liverpool FC can now reveal the unique Dream Scene artwork commissioned to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary year and offer fans a chance to get their hands on copy.

Painted by international sports artist Jamie Cooper, the image distils the past, present and future of LFC, bringing together 19 figures that have played a pivotal role in shaping the club with one very special fan.

The image is set in Anfield’s dressing room and features Bill Shankly, Billy Liddell, Ian Callaghan, John Barnes, Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Tom Watson, Bob Paisley, Alex Raisbeck, Elisha Scott, Gordon Hodgson, Roger Hunt, Emlyn Hughes, Ray Clemence, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Jürgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson.

Young fan Joseph Thurston was selected to appear in the Dream Scene through a competition run via the club’s junior Membership. Joseph appears in the painting alongside his LFC heroes representing the next generation of supporters and the future of the club.

The painting also offers keen-eyed supporters a number of subtle nods to key figures and significant events in LFC’s history through the inclusion of symbolic items and references.

The Dream Scene was revealed at an exclusive event at the club’s Anfield store this evening, attended by club legends and family representatives of those captured within the painting.

It will be on display in the Anfield store from Saturday November 17 until the end of the season. Artist Jamie Cooper will be in the club’s Anfield store ahead of the LFC v Southampton fixture on Saturday November 18 from from 11am to 1pm to discuss the painting with fans.

Dream Scene canvases and lithograph prints are available to purchase online now and in-store from Friday 17th November. The Dream Scene lithograph will be available in all club stores and the club's online store. The canvases will be available in the club's Anfield and Liverpool One stores and online.
