Match preview: U18s ready for Stoke City away test

Liverpool U18s hope to maintain their unbeaten start to 2017-18 when they return to action after the international break with an away trip to Stoke City on Saturday morning.

With one win and two draws, Steven Gerrard’s young Reds have made a favourable start to the campaign.

Last season head-to-head: The young Reds did the double over the Potters last season, winning 3-1 in Kirkby thanks to two goals from Glen McAuley and a late strike from Rhian Brewster.

In the away fixture in December, the Reds produced a thumping 5-1 victory with McAuley (two), Curtis Jones, George Johnston and Rafael Camacho on the mark.
