Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side have now racked up 14 goals and conceded only one in their warm-up games for the 2020-21 campaign.
The young Reds started brightly in Kirkby but the visitors came back into the contest and enjoyed the clearest opportunity to open the scoring when a penalty was given against Jakub Ojrzynski.
But the Liverpool goalkeeper made immediate amends by saving the spot-kick.
The hosts soon capitalised further by taking the lead themselves with 24 on the clock. Layton Stewart’s determination allowed him to send in a pull-back from the right that invited Tom Hill to convert.
Stewart made it 2-0 himself 10 minutes before the interval with an audacious finish, the 17-year-old striker beating the ‘keeper with an outstanding lob from the right-hand side.
And the Reds produced a third three minutes later as a flowing team move involving Conor Bradley, Stewart and James Balagizi resulted in another pull-back to Hill and his second goal of the game.
Bridge-Wilkinson’s charges extended their advantage in the early stages of the second half, with Luke Chambers’ foray down the left leading to a cross that drifted straight into the net.
Leicester partly reduced their arrears with a penalty but it was Liverpool’s day in the Kirkby sunshine and the U18s continue to build up nicely for the new season.
