The club was recognised for its outstanding ‘Fan First Culture’ during a prestigious gala dinner held at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on Tuesday evening.
Now in its 10th year, the awards ceremony forms part of the Stadium Business Summit – the annual celebration of the global stadium sector, which sees an international group of stadium and arena owners, operators and teams come together.
The Fan Experience Award recognises a stadium, arena or major sports venue that has delivered consistently outstanding levels of service and fan experience at every stage of the customer journey.
Jo Kirkham, vice president of fan experience at Liverpool FC, said: “Our fan-first philosophy puts the supporters at the heart of the club – with the Anfield matchday at the centre of their experience.
“It’s no longer just about the 90 minutes on the pitch – we want to provide a unique, whole day out at a place that creates life-long memories.
“Our staff are committed to providing a first-class experience at each touchpoint throughout a visit and we’re delighted to have been recognised by the Stadium Business Awards this year.
“We’re very proud of all our staff for creating such a fantastic experience for our fans and visitors.”
