New players announced for LFC Legends v Barça charity match

LFC Foundation has announced the defenders and goalkeepers who will play for Liverpool FC Legends in the charity match against Barça Legends at Anfield in March.

Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia, Daniel Agger, Fabio Aurelio, Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique, Jason McAteer, Phil Babb and Bjorn Tore Kvarme will be joined by 'keepers Jerzy Dudek and Sander Westerveld for the game, which is presented by AXA, the club’s official training kit partner.

Managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush, the Liverpool FC Legends will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten record at Anfield when they take on their Barça counterparts on Saturday March 28, in aid of LFC Foundation.

Fernando Torres and Luis Garcia are among the other confirmed names also set to play for the Reds, while the likes of Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Juliano Belletti and Javier Saviola will turn out for Barça.

Tickets and hospitality for the game are now sold out, but supporters can check if any additional tickets become available here.

Exclusive matchday experiences will be available to fans through an LFC Foundation fundraising auction. Such experiences include: a meet and greet with Luis Garcia including matchday hospitality; a junior player buddy experience; VIP match and pitchside experience for two people; and VIP match and team arrival experience for two people.
