Red Neighbours and LFC Foundation create memories for local fans

It was another busy day filled with community activities at Anfield today, as the Red Neighbours and LFC Foundation teams provided a host of special experiences for local fans.

Youngsters from Alder Hey, the Owen McVeigh Foundation, CHICS cancer charity and LFC Foundation’s 'Respect 4 All' disability programme were invited to watch the Reds’ 4-0 win over Arsenal from executive boxes in the Main Stand, where they also got to meet former Liverpool player Phil Babb.

Students from Alsop High School - one of the schools who benefit from the the Red Neighbours free ticket initiative - had a special surprise when CEO Peter Moore hand-delivered their match tickets outside the stadium.

The Alsop pupils were also invited to greet the first-team squad as they arrived at Anfield, before watching a resounding home victory from the Main Stand.

Two other schools - Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School and Florence Melly Community Primary School - also enjoyed watching the team’s thrilling win as part of the free ticket initiative for today’s game.
