The Red Neighbours programme invited guests from local charities CHICS, Owen McVeigh Foundation and KIND to enjoy the Boxing Day 5-0 win over Swansea City from an executive box in the Main Stand, thanks to a donation from main club sponsor Standard Chartered.
Guests were given a VIP match day experience, including a three-course meal cooked by a private chef and a special visit from Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, who called in to meet the youngsters prior to kick-off.
Pupils from Whitefield Primary School, near Anfield, also had the opportunity to greet the first-team squad as they arrived at the stadium before the match.
The Reds' final game of 2017 – a 2-1 win over Leicester City on December 30 – also saw local residents enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences at Anfield.
Guests from Pinehurst Community Green - a local volunteering organisation who focus on food poverty and education in the community - were invited by Red Neighbours to watch the game from an executive box, where they were visited by former player Phil Babb.
Children from Anfield’s Pinehurst Primary School were given the honour of meeting the teams as they disembarked their coaches, as well as receiving free tickets to the Premier League clash.
A further 100 pupils from local schools also attended the two festive fixtures free of charge as part of Red Neighbours’ focus on creating memorable experiences for young people.
