LFC volunteers visit patients at the Royal Liverpool Hospital

On Thursday July 6, LFC’s Red Neighbours team was joined by employee volunteers and Margaret Aspinall, chair of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, to visit patients at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

In celebration of the hospital’s 40th year, and the NHS’s 70th birthday, the helpers delivered gifts to wards and spent valuable time with patients to help put smiles on their faces and lift their spirits.

Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton was also visiting the hospital, and joined the LFC volunteers as they made their way around the different wards, treating patients and staff to a fun sing-along of some all-time favourite tunes.

Patients at the hospital were also given an unforgettable opportunity to hold the treasured European Cup and have their photograph taken with it, helping to make lasting memories.
