LFC volunteers lend a hand at local community garden

Red Neighbours and Liverpool FC staff volunteers lent a hand at a local community allotment on Tuesday.

The group spent the morning at Pinehurst Community Garden in Anfield - which grows food for local families in need - to help with weeding the beds in preparation for planting.

Red Neighbours have already visited the allotment twice to date and will return next month to continue supporting the valued local initiative.

The visit highlights Red Neighbours’ commitment to food poverty and education, one of the four key areas of need in the L4, L5 and L6 postcodes.
