LFC Foundation, LDSA and Owen McVeigh Foundation host Spooktacular event

The Liverpool Disabled Supporters Association hosted a virtual Halloween Spooktacular event with support from LFC Foundation and the Owen McVeigh Foundation on Friday October 30.

Participants from LFC Foundation’s Inclusion sessions, alongside members of the LDSA and Owen McVeigh Foundation, were invited to join a Halloween-themed community Zoom call.

Prior to the event, the children were visited by teams from LFC Foundation and the LDSA and received special goody bags full of tricks and treats to get them ready for the night’s activities. These included their very own Cadbury’s ‘Champion’ chocolate bar, popcorn and Halloween cupcakes provided by Laura’s Little Bakery.

The night was a huge success, with face painting, fun and games on Zoom, and a great sense of community, even though people couldn’t physically be together.

There were also special recorded messages to the children from Academy players, LFC Women stars, and former Reds goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.

The Halloween Spooktacular event is the first of many activities planned between the LDSA, Owen McVeigh Foundation and LFC Foundation.
