LFC Foundation and Red Neighbours restart face-to-face community delivery

LFC Foundation and Red Neighbours are starting to resume their face-to-face delivery across the city region.

Delivery will be back up and running in local parks, community and sports centres, providing hundreds of activities for local young people and families.

Throughout lockdown, LFC Foundation has been continuing its school provisions, with programmes such as #iWill and Primary Stars providing virtual sessions as well as extra activities, including Step Up, our Wednesday Workout and Big Red Friday Challenge.

Red Neighbours has also been running virtual chair-based yoga sessions, virtual afternoon tea social chats with its participants, and making check-in phone calls to isolated members of the community. This was important to ensure LFC Foundation and Red Neighbours were able to continue to support their communities and participants even when it wasn’t possible to be together in person.

As well as LFC Foundation’s regular sessions, such as Premier League Kicks and GO PLAY! - among many others - there are some exciting, brand-new offerings to kick-start summer:

LFC Foundation, through its partnership with Community Hubs in Kirkby, Toxteth, Bootle and Birkenhead, will be delivering regular activities and Foundation programmes in local areas, working together with local community centres.

LFC Foundation has activities for all abilities, including Kicks Inclusion sessions, which provide sport activities and a chance for socialising for children, young people and adults with additional needs.

Red Neighbours will also be continuing with the very popular chair-based yoga and walking football programmes.
