'The best ever' - Fowler and McAteer's Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle watchalong

On its 25th anniversary, enjoy a special watchalong of Liverpool's 4-3 thriller against Newcastle United with two of the key men from the night.

On April 3, 1996, the Reds and the Magpies produced 90 minutes of stunningly compelling football in a game still widely regarded as one of, it not the, best in Premier League history.

Roy Evans’ Liverpool led, trailed, levelled and trailed again before Stan Collymore’s late double snatched victory amid an unforgettable atmosphere at Anfield.

To mark a quarter of a century since the clash, Robbie Fowler – who also netted twice on the evening – and Jason McAteer sat down to relive the occasion and share their memories of how the drama unfolded.

Check out the vital moments of the contest plus the players’ unique insight in their new watchalong, presented by Carlsberg, below.
