Ox and Mo up for Champions League goal prize

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mohamed Salah are in the running for the Champions League Goal of the Week award.

The Liverpool duo have been nominated for the accolade - which covers all quarter-final matches - for their respective strikes against Manchester City, which helped the Reds to a 5-1 aggregate victory over their Premier League rivals.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's stunning long-range effort at the Kop end gave Jürgen Klopp's team a two-goal lead in their 3-0 first-leg win, while Salah's ice-cool dink provided them with an all-important equaliser and away goal in Tuesday's 2-1 success at Etihad Stadium.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Luis Suarez (FC Barcelona) and Mario Mandzukic (Juventus) are also in contention for the prize.
