Jota has chosen the vacant No.20 jersey most recently worn for the Reds by Adam Lallana for six seasons before his summer move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Asked if there is any significance behind his decision, he told Liverpoolfc.com: “No, not really. But I think it’s a good number and hopefully I can do good things with it.
