Roberto Firmino completes move to Al-Ahli

Roberto Firmino has joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli following the expiration of his Liverpool contract.

The Brazilian forward spent eight trophy-laden years with the Reds and will take on a new challenge for the 2023-24 season.

Firmino made 362 appearances for Liverpool, the 40th-most in club history, and scored 111 goals, providing 72 assists.

A key figure and part of one of the most devastating front threes in world football, Firmino lifted six major honours – including the Champions League, Premier League and FIFA Club World Cup – during his time at Anfield.

Everybody at LFC would like to thank Roberto for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
