52 seconds: Salah goes from substitute to scorer

Mohamed Salah made his return to action for Liverpool on Wednesday night – and needed just 52 seconds to register his name on the scoresheet.

The Egyptian entered the action against Manchester City in New Jersey just after the hour mark, with the Reds’ opponents leading 1-0 at the MetLife Stadium.

And Salah wasted no time in making an impact – 52 seconds in fact.

Our special player-cam video below follows the No.11 from the moment he takes to the pitch through to when he plants his header beyond Joe Hart to make it 1-1.
