Liverpool FC will celebrate the 125th anniversary of its first ever fixture, against Rotherham Town at Anfield in September 1892, at the Premier League match with Burnley on Saturday.
And to mark the milestone occasion, a special edition of the matchday programme will be on sale – including a competition to win one of three signed Reds shirts.
‘This is Anfield’ will feature a commemorative front cover, a unique look back at the club’s first game, an exclusive interview with boyhood fan turned first-team star Trent Alexander-Arnold, the memories of two Kopites who have been visiting the stadium since the 1930s, and a Q&A with CEO Peter Moore.
