Watch: Liverpool players rap famous Hip Hop verses
Liverpool visit the West Coast and Midwest of the United States this summer as part of their 2016 Tour.
Jürgen Klopp and his squad will take on Chelsea in Pasadena and AC Milan in Santa Clara before heading inland for a meeting with AS Roma in St Louis.
And so we thought it fitting to expose the players to a little bit of the local culture before they arrive - namely, the thriving Hip Hop scene.
Of course, the club's links with this particular genre of music go back a long way.
In 1988, the Reds prepared for that season's FA Cup final by releasing 'The Anfield Rap', a three-and-a-half-minute ditty co-written by none other than Aussie midfielder Craig Johnston and featuring many of his teammates.
John Barnes' contribution to that famous song earned him an appearance on New Order's 'World in Motion' two years later, with his rapping skills a cornerstone of one of the most popular pre-World Cup songs ever.
The Reds' affinity rap isn't just a one-way street, either, with hip-hop superstar Dr Dre among the many celebrities who count themselves as supporter of the club.
But what about the current crop? Can they live up to their forebearers?
We asked Nathaniel Clyne, Joe Allen and even Simon Mignolet - or, as they are now known, Nathe Dogg, Lil' Joe and Notorious M.I.G. - to show off their rapping skills with covers of some huge hits.
See how they got on by playing the free video above.
Tickets for the Reds' three games in the United States this summer, against Chelsea, Milan and Roma, are available now.
