Photo gallery: Reds squad visit Alcatraz Island
After completing a morning training session at Stanford University, the Liverpool squad took a trip to explore the historical Alcatraz Island – and our photographer was on hand to capture their visit.
The island, located in San Francisco Bay, acted as a maximum high-security federal prison between 1934 and 1963.
These days, however, it now serves as a museum and tourist attraction, with millions of people taking the short boat journey over to Alcatraz each year – and on Thursday, Jürgen Klopp and his team joined that number.
