The unmissable football comedy film One Night in Istanbul has now landed in North America and is available on a digital download on iTunes and major digital platforms.

Based on the hit play by Nicky Allt, One Night in Istanbul is a rollercoaster ride of laughs giving Liverpool fans in the USA the chance to relive 'that night' in Istanbul.

The film centres on that unforgettable evening in 2005 when the Reds produced an incredible comeback to beat AC Milan and win the Champions League in Istanbul, and it charts the hilarious tale of two down-on-their-luck taxi drivers from Liverpool who strike an unusual deal with a local gangster.

Their agreement ensures they can travel with their sons to watch the final at the Ataturk Stadium, where Rafael Benitez's team battled back from three goals down.

But instead trouble awaits them in the form of a gang of ruthless criminals and a massive stash of stolen cash,  in a movie that stars the likes of Paul Barber and Samantha Womack.

One Night In Istanbul will appeal not only to Liverpool fans but anyone who enjoys a good British comedy. The film also features the big screen debut of Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler.

The film was directed by James Marquand, award-winning film director and son of ‘Return of the Jedi’ director Richard Marquand. One Night in Istanbul was also made with the full support of Liverpool FC.

Having played at cinemas across the UK & Ireland, the North American digital release will be a must watch for anyone who remembers that legendary night in Istanbul and the perfect accompaniment to Liverpool’s appearance in the 2016 International Champions Cup.
