In pictures: Legends scale heights of St. Louis Arch
Luis Garcia, Gary McAllister and Ian Rush used the final day of the Liverpool FC tour to scale the heights of St. Louis' Gateway Arch alongside chief commercial officer Billy Hogan.
Standing at 630 feet tall, the iconic structure – with a unique shape and stainless steel façade – is the tallest man-made national monument in the United States.
And ahead of the Reds’ friendly against AS Roma in the city, the trio of legends joined Hogan to take an enclosed tram to the top of the arch and soak up the spectacular views.
The four men also met the Mayor of St. Louis, Francis G. Slay, to exchange gifts and mark the club’s visit for the final stage of their pre-season tour in America.
