Liverpool goalkeeper Harvey Davies will join Crewe Alexandra on loan for the 2023-24 campaign.

The 19-year-old is set to spend the forthcoming season with the League Two outfit as he looks to pick up his first experience of competitive senior football.

A regular figure between the posts for the Reds’ Academy sides, Davies penned his first professional contract with the club in 2021.

He frequently trains with Jürgen Klopp’s squad and has previously featured on the bench for the men’s team across various competitions – most notably in the Champions League.

Davies signed an extension with Liverpool last summer after being part of the England U19 European Championship-winning squad, ahead of earning a senior appearance during pre-season for the Reds.

He was also named as a substitute for the FA Community Shield victory over Manchester City last July, and will now seek further valuable experience with Lee Bell’s Crewe.
