Hillsborough memorial service ticket closing date imminent
The final Hillsborough memorial service at Anfield will be held next month and those who wish to attend should note that the closing date for obtaining tickets is Thursday March 31.
Friday April 15, 2016 marks the 27th anniversary of the disaster at the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, in which 96 fans lost their lives.
This year is an extremely significant landmark for the families of the victims and all affected by the tragedy, with the new Hillsborough inquests in Warrington set to conclude.
This memorial service will also be the last to take place at Anfield, and details of the poignant occasion and how to attend were released here in February.
For planning purposes, those who wish to attend the service must request tickets by tomorrow.
How to obtain your ticket(s)
Tickets for the memorial service can be obtained free of charge by phoning the LFC ticket office on 0151 264 2500, by postal application to Liverpool Football Club Ticket Office, PO Box 204, Liverpool, L69 3JF, or by visiting the ticket office at Anfield.
Should you require disabled access then please advise accordingly when making your application.
Please note there will be a restriction of four tickets per application, but the club will be sensitive in exceptional cases to requests for larger numbers.
Liverpool FC welcomes all attendees; however, please note no prams or pushchairs will be allowed into the stadium under any circumstances. The club asks you to please keep this in mind if you are bringing young children to the service.
The club also requests that everyone arrives early as the service will start promptly at 2.45pm.
Please note that tickets will not be available on the day of the service.
