Liverpool FC and Levi’s Music Project are pleased to announce the launch of the renowned Levi's Music Project in Liverpool, in partnership with Loyle Carner.

The studio will open its doors to 15 young musicians from today for a six-month project, culminating at Liverpool Sound City festival.

The Levi’s Music Project will be taking over its own venue to showcase original pieces created by the young artists throughout the project.

During the partnership, LFC will work closely with Levi’s to develop the music project within the local community, providing events and experiences specifically aimed at improving the lives of those living in and around the local area.

Setting out to break down barriers to music education, a fully-equipped music studio has been created at the Liverpool Lighthouse in the heart of Anfield.

Reds fan and rapper Carner will be taking the reins this year to unearth talent that will keep the city firmly on the global music map.

Alongside a line-up of industry experts and mentors, the programme will see Carner undertaking one-to-one sessions with participants over six months, helping them to hone their skills, learning about everything from songwriting to performance and software, while building a strong network and foundation with which to build their music careers and futures.
