Peter Moore on Reds' FIFA Club World Cup participation
With just six weeks to go before the FIFA Club World Cup gets under way in Qatar, Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore looks ahead to the tournament, addressing the issues and challenges that will be faced by the club and our supporters.
Moore explains how, ahead of the competition, the club has extensively engaged with a range of organisations including supporter bodies, LGBT pressure groups, trade unions, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, non-governmental organisations, human rights experts, and the Qatar Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy - the group responsible for organising the 2022 World Cup and the Club World Cup in conjunction with FIFA.
