Aquilani nets late winner
Alberto Aquilani struck a dramatic winning goal as Italy beat Spain 2-1 on Wednesday night.
The midfielder came off the bench to net six minutes from time in Bari and secure victory for his country against La Furia Roja, with Pepe Reina an unused substitute for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Charlie Adam had a hand in Scotland's opening goal in their 2-1 triumph against Denmark after seeing his free-kick deflected into the back of the net by William Kvist at Hampden Park.
Danny Wilson played the full 90 minutes in Glasgow, while Daniel Agger and Christian Poulsen figured for the Danes.
Elsewhere, Raul Meireles played the second half of Portugal's 5-0 win over Luxembourg in Faro.
