'He megged me twice!'
In our latest starlet in profile interview, defender Tom King looks ahead to the U18s' opening league encounter against Cardiff City.
The left-back was an infrequent starter during his first year in Kirkby but has been a regular during pre-season and has high hopes of making a big impact after featuring at this summer's U17 World Cup with Australia.
Here he tells us about his dislike of Peter Aylmer's green track suits, what he would do to Yalany Baio's Mohawk and why Mike Marsh is at the centre of his most embarrassing moment in football.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?
Kris Petersen. He loves the 'round the worlds' and the flip flap moves. I can't do any of them so it wouldn't be me!
If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Aspen in the USA. It'd be great to do some snowboarding there.
Last album downloaded?
Chris Brown's 'Fame'. It's amazing. I'd recommend it. Go and get it!
Last film watched?
Horrible Bosses. That was amazing too. Again, if you like a good comedy it's worth a watch.
Favourite TV show?
Family Guy. Hilarious.
Worst dresser?
Peter Aylmer. He's got some strange taste. He wears horrible green track suits and rubbish polos.
Worst taste in music?
David Moli. He's into rap and it's just not great.
Best mate in the squad?
Brad Smith. We've got the Australia connection and he was very welcoming when I first came here.
Best moment in football so far?
Representing Australia at the U17 World Cup. It was a brilliant experience. I really enjoyed it. Everyone wants to play for their national team and getting called up by Australia to play on such a big stage, was a dream come true. We came up against some big names. There were Brazil and Denmark, who apparently did well at the European Championships the previous year. We also had the Ivory Coast in our group so it was always going to be a challenge, but I think we did well to get out of the group stages. I was pleased with my own performances. Australia try to play with a similar style to Liverpool so it was easy to fit into the squad. All the lads were very welcoming too.
You were one of seven Liverpool youngsters in Mexico with six representing England. Any good natured banter while you were over there?
Yes, I was quick to text the England lads when they drew with Canada 2-2 because we had beaten the same opposition 2-1 in a warm-up game before the World Cup. I then ran into them when they were staying at a nearby camp after that and it was nice to see how they were getting on.
Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football...
Getting back from the World Cup and on my first day of training being nutmegged twice by Mike Marsh! That was pretty bad.
Which teammates would you least like to introduce to your parents?
Henoc Mukendi or Yalany Baio. I never know what those two guys are on about so I think my parents would struggle!
If you could take one of the lads to the barbers to have their haircut, who would it be?
Definitely Baio. What's going on with that Mohawk!
Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?
Tom Walsh. He spends hours there!
Best ever player in your position?
John Arne Riise.
Best thing about playing for LFC?
I've always been a fan so it's great to be here.
And just finally, what are your thoughts on today's opener against Cardiff City?
I can't wait. I've been waiting for this day to come for a while now. It's nice to get all the running and the hard work with pre-season out of the way and hopefully it will pay off when we get into the season. I just want to try and start in as many games as possible and work hard to keep my place in the team.
