Smith: He reminds me of Keegan
Tommy Smith has saluted the 'exceptional' movement of Luis Suarez and likened the frontman to former Kop star Kevin Keegan.
The Anfield Iron has followed John Aldridge and Phil Thompson in drawing comparisons between the Uruguayan and Mighty Mouse, identifying him as a player defenders hate to come up against.
Smith said: "The more I see of Luis Suarez the more he reminds me of Kevin Keegan.
"His movement is exceptional and Suarez is a fine player.
"He doesn't just have the ability to beat someone for pace, he can stop, stand on the ball and then nutmeg you.
"He has great skill and plays the game in areas where defenders don't like it. Suarez was head and shoulders above everyone else in the game at Exeter.
"It was also great to see Andy Carroll get on the scoresheet and that goal should do him the world of good."
