'Anfield run-out is my dream'

The stylish winger earned rave reviews for his displays with the U16s last term and was recently named on the bench for the NextGen Series draw at home to Wolfsburg.

Here he tells us which teammate lacks any fashion sense, why he'd love to visit California and why he thinks Yalany Baio's taste in music is as bad as his haircut.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?

Jack Dunn or Kristoffer Peterson. They've got all the skills in their locker. I think Dunny would shade it.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?

California or somewhere in the USA. If there is loads of sun I'll be happy.

Last album downloaded?

To be honest, I can't remember. I'm not that into music. I'll just listen to whatever the lads have on in the dressing room.

Last film watched?

I'm a big film fan and went to see the Inbetweeners movie the other night. It was quality.

Favourite TV show?

That would be the Inbetweeners or Celebrity Juice.

Worst dresser?

That has got to be Ryan McLaughlin. He's the worst dresser - ever. He comes in wearing old footy kits. There's no fashion sense there!

Worst taste in music?

Yalany Baio. He listens to all-sorts of Portuguese stuff and it's not the best. That's saying something coming from a lad who isn't fussed about what the others play!

Best moment in football so far?

Playing at Anfield at the end of the season. The Academy always organise a day where we go along and get a run out on the famous turf. I was also on the bench for the NextGen game against Wolfsburg and that was a great feeling. Hopefully I'll get a chance again or play there in the Youth Cup at some point.

Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football...

My mind has gone blank! I can't think of one. (Long pause). There will be a few but I just can't remember them now I'm on the spot.

Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with - and why?

Baio and Josh Sumner because they would both make me laugh and that would be important if we were stranded! I'm unsure over the third. I know it wouldn't be Dave Moli! He'd wind me up all the time!

If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?

Baio. It's terrible. We all tell him it's shocking but he loves it. I can't see him changing it any time soon.

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

Kris Peterson. He lives in the mirror.

Best ever player in your position?

Lionel Messi. He's got everything. I love watching him play.

And just finally, you play Wolves today - how has the season gone so far?

It's gone okay. I think we could have done better and it's important that we always look to improve. We need to build on some of our better performances and make sure we hit a high level week in, week out.
