League Record:

At Anfield: Liverpool 30 wins, Wolves 9 wins, 7 draws.

Overall: Liverpool 45 wins, Wolves 30 wins, 17 draws.

Last season Wolves shocked Liverpool at Anfield with a 1-0 win with Stephen Ward scoring the only goal, 12 months after being sent off on the ground. At the time Wolves were bottom of the Premier League.

In the return at Molineux Liverpool won 3-0. It was Kenny Dalglish's first win since taking over as Caretaker-Manager. Fernando Torres scored his final goals for the club with Raul Meireles' outstanding strike sandwiched in between.

Liverpool and Wolves are looking to bounce back from losing their last two league fixtures. The Reds lost on the road at Stoke and Tottenham while Wolves were beaten at Molineux by Tottenham and QPR.

In the last 24 league meetings home and away the Reds have prevented Wolves from scoring on 14 occasions.

Liverpool have conceded only three goals in the last 12 home meetings with Wanderers.

Liverpool's biggest home win over Wolves came in September 1963 when they won 6-0 with Roger Hunt scoring twice.

The Reds have won 13 of the last 15 Anfield fixtures with Wolves.

Last Sunday saw Kenny Dalglish suffer his heaviest defeat as Liverpool manager as the Reds lost 4-0 at Tottenham.

Liverpool have never failed to score in three succssive league games under Kenny Dalglish.

The win at Molineux last season was the first time Kenny had managed Liverpool against Wolves.

Pepe Reina has conceded one goal in his four appearances against Wolves - in this fixture last season.

Dirk Kuyt is looking to score his first league goal since scoring in the 5-2 win at Fulham. It would be his 50^th league goal for the club.

In all competitions Dirk has scored 67 times for the Reds - putting him one behind Ian Callaghan.

The Reds are five goals short of recording 1200 in the Premier League.

Wolves won three times away from home last season in the league - at Liverpool, Aston Villa and crucially Sunderland in their last away fixture of the campaign.
