Season tickets announcement
Liverpool FC will shortly be continuing the process to consolidate and clean up the Season Ticket Waiting List and hope to have completed the process by late October.
The Club has spent the summer working through the first 25,000 records on the list and will now be communicating with the remainder of supporters on the original waiting list.
History
The Season Ticket waiting list was officially opened in 1996, when the Club invited applications by letter from supporters, with later requests also submitted via an opt-in option on the Fan Card application forms. Over the past 15 years, over 70,000 fans have registered their interest and the Club now plans to tidy up the list and ensure everyone on it knows exactly where they stand.
Process
Every single Season Ticket waiting list application received between 1996 and 2011 has been captured digitally, in date order, and Liverpool FC will now be contacting those supporters outside of the first 25,000 on the list. A letter will be sent to the home address of each of these fans with instructions on how to confirm they still want to buy a Season Ticket and, in doing so, maintain their position on the list.
You will shortly be able to check if you are included in this process by using our online look up tool.
Timelines
The first letters will be sent out during the week commencing September 26th, with a deadline for all responses to the Club of October 28th 2011. Once all replies have been processed and those who no longer wish to be included on the list removed, Liverpool FC will then confirm the positions of those supporters remaining on the list.
Supporters involved in this part of the project will have joined the waiting list after 2004.

Q: What is this fee for?
A: The fee is to help cover the cost of this project.
