'A hat-trick to be forgotten'
In our latest U18 in profile interview, we speak to winger Kristoffer Peterson ahead of Friday's Kirkby meeting with Manchester United.
The Swede has made quite an impression for the U18s this season with his direct style and also made his U19 debut under Rodolfo Borrell in the NextGen Series clash with Molde.
Here he tells us why he doesn't want to remember a famous hat-trick, who he models his game on and why Anfield holds the key to the best moment of his life so far.
Who would win at 'skill skool'?
I can't say myself (laughs) so I would have to go for Jack Dunn or Tom Walsh. We always practice after training. Jack is a great player and he scored one of the goals of the season against Derby.
If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I am a fan of the show Entourage and I would love to go to the USA. I want to go to New York and Los Angeles.
Last album downloaded?
Chris Brown, F.A.M.E.
Last film watched?
Coach Carter, a quality movie.
Favourite TV show?
Entourage. It's just top class and if you haven't seen it I would tell everyone to watch it because it's so good. I also like Match of the Day and try not to miss it.
Worst dresser?
I'll have to pass on that. I'm from Sweden so in my opinion everyone dresses bad!
Worst taste in music?
Yalany Baio and David Moli when they play the African music.
Best moment in football so far?
Coming off the bench to play at Anfield in the NextGen Series against Molde. That was absolutely the biggest moment in my life. It's something I would like more of in the future because you can't beat playing at Anfield.
Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football?
When I played in Sweden and I scored two own goals and gave away a penalty with a handball. That was what you call a bad day and not a hat-trick you want to remember!
Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with and why?
Raheem Sterling, Tom Walsh and Joe Rafferty. Tom is my best mate at the club, Raheem because he is so funny and a lively character. We have good times together and Joe is just hilarious. He is also a great captain and we all respect him.
If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?
Definitely Yalany Baio. He's got to get rid of that mohican!
Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?
Me or Tom Walsh! The lads would probably say me!
Best ever player in your position?
Cristiano Ronaldo, it has to be. In my opinion the best player in the world ever was Zidane but he didn't play in my position so Ronaldo it is. I liked him before he became big but he is just a top class player.
Best thing about playing for Liverpool FC?
This is just the best life you could have playing for Liverpool. It's such a fantastic football club with supporters all over the world. I love playing football and I couldn't wish for a better team to learn at than Liverpool.
And just finally, you play Man United today, how much do you look forward to this game?
This is a big game for us and we want to win. I made my debut for the U16s against United last season and we won so hopefully we can do the same on Friday. We were unlucky not to beat Everton last week because I thought we were the better team.
You can watch the U18s clash with Man U live today from 11.30am on LFC TV and LFC TV Online.
