Liverpool Reserves' NextGen Series hopes are in their own hands following a goalless draw between Wolfsburg and Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday night.
The result means Rodolfo Borrell's side remain in second place on seven points, two ahead of the German outfit who face Molde in their final encounter of Group 2.
The Reds travel to Portugal to take on leaders Sporting for their last match knowing that a victory would guarantee their place in the knockout stage.
