In our latest starlet in profile interview, we speak to Lewis Hatch ahead of this afternoon's U18 encounter at Crewe Alexandra.

The versatile midfielder has established himself as a regular in Mike Marsh's new-look side and has produced a string of consistent displays so far this term.

Here he tells us about beating Man United 6-0, why he loves Steven Gerrard and what a Friday night in the Hatch household entails.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?

I don't think we have that many players that you would call silky skilled players. But If I had to pick two I would probably say Tom Walsh or Kristoffer Peterson. I think Walshy would win.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Miami. It looks like a great place to chill out.

Last album downloaded?

I listen to all sorts of music but the last album I downloaded was Adele's latest one. She's decent.

Last film watched?

I watched Fast Five last weekend. I've seen it before but quite liked it, so was happy to give it another look.

Favourite TV show?

An Idiot Abroad always makes me laugh and I'm also a fan of a League of their own. They are both on Friday night, so it's good to kick back and relax watching them the night before a match.

Worst dresser?

There are quite a few! Baio is pretty bad but Peter Aylmer might just sneak it!

Worst taste in music?

That's definitely Pete. He's got some bad tunes on his iPod. Tom King runs him close though. He's got some seriously dodgy Australian music.

Best moment in football so far?

It would probably be playing in the U18s' 6-0 win over Man United last season. It was one of the only games I was really involved in last year and it's great to beat them.

Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football...

I've had a lot of injuries so that would be the worst. The most embarrassing moment involves my clothes. If the lads see some gear they don't think much of, they tend to sellotape them and hang them up from the ceiling!

Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with - and why?

Adam Morgan, Joe Rafferty and Peter Aylmer. They are all good local lads and Pete would be great for the banter!

If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?

Tom Walsh. The last haircut he got was awful and it needs sorting out. I'd also tell Tom King to get his done because he's receding and it doesn't look great!

Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?

Jack Dunn is up there but it's got to be Kris Peterson.

Best ever player in your position?

I mainly play in central midfield so it's an easy choice - Steven Gerrard. He's a legend and one of the best players we've ever had.

Best thing about playing for Liverpool FC?

Well I'm a local lad and have grown up as a fan. Playing for Liverpool is just a dream come true.

And just finally, you face Crewe this afternoon. What are you expecting from this encounter?

Crewe have a great youth system and we always have a good game against them. We know it will be difficult at their place but we have being doing well of late and we need to keep kicking on.
