Xmas presents: The kids' verdict
Christmas came early for two young Reds this weekend as they were handed the envious task of being present-testers for Liverpool FC.
The pair - eight-year-old Jack and Stella, friends who attended their first game at Anfield together aged just four - were invited into the LFC TV studios to unwrap and deliver their verdict on some of the best LFC-themed presents available for youngsters this Christmas.
Rather than us grown-ups telling you what your children will think about the presents you could buy them, we've asked the kids to roadtest the goodies themselves.
For the first time in their lives, they didn't need to be asked twice...
Liverbird Lunch Bag, £8

Stella: "I've already got an LFC lunch bag but I ripped it messing around in the playground and this is better anyway. I need this for school. My friend Bethany supports Everton so she might not sit next to me at lunch if I take this in but she needs to learn who to support. All the boys in the class will love it - apart from Harvey. He supports Everton as well."
Jack: "My packed lunch will taste well better in one of these and I wouldn't leave any of my butty. I've already got a Liverpool school bag so I need a Liverpool lunch bag. A winner for me."

Stella: "I'm famous! My name is on the front and in March I'm the Footballer of the Year. Cool! This is the best present ever."
Jack: "I can't believe this has got my name on it. For my birthday in June there's a shirt with Platt 15. Don't know about the blonde hair though, that's not me, I think it's Lucas."
Team Bus, £12

Stella: "This is very good. I know because I got one last year off Father Christmas. I'd definitely like another one though. My sister usually steals all my stuff - including this bus - so a new one would be good."
Jack: "I've got a Benfica one like this but this one is much better. They should have buses like this going to town. I'd get on the bus every day if it was a Liverpool bus. I bet it's got TVs and everything on it."
Liverpool FC PS3 skin, £20

Stella: "If I had a Playstation, I'd love this but I've already asked for a Wii off Father Christmas this year. Do they do these for the Wii? If not, I'll give it to my friend Charlie for Christmas. He supports Liverpool as well so he'd love it. He's always on his Playstation anyway."
Jack: "If it was for the XBOX it would be awesome. I've got an XBOX but I haven't got a PS3. What have Liverpool got against XBOX? C'mon Liverpool, sort it out."
Note to Jack: This is also available for the XBOX>>
Kids Crest Strap Watch, £10

Jack: "I can't really tell the time yet but this will give me practice. It's not my favourite present so far because you can't play with it but I still like it."
Stella: "Cool! I need a watch. I can't tell the time either but I'm not really embarrassed about that as hardly anyone in my class can tell the time. As long as it looks good on your wrist you can just ask someone else the time if you need to know."
LFC Annual 2012, £7.99

Stella: "What's Torres doing in it? Oh, that's the review of 2011. My favourite player is Stevie G and he's on the cover. I love this book. Anyone who's favourite player isn't Stevie G is weird although if they like King Kenny or Carra that's OK. Or Suarez."
Jack: "I need to read it first before I can talk about it. It looks good. It's got lots in it. This is well better than the books I have to read at school. Is Kenny in it? This is a great present."

Bear kit, £5

Stella: "It looks like my dog Dillon. It's very cuddly; I'm going to call him Luis Suarez. This little kit is really good. My other teddies will be jealous. It's much better than my 'Build-a-Bear'.
Jack: "A teddy, haha! It looks like Dirk Kuyt! My sister would love this but she's always winding me up saying she's an Evertonian so I'd give it to my little brother instead. He's a Red. At first I thought this was a kit for him! He's really small so it still might fit him but if not I'm sure the teddy will love it. This can be a present from me to our Tom. Do we get to keep all this stuff when we're finished?"

Stella: "I really like the Liver Bird washer in this set but I think it's a bit cruel to use it to wash the dirt off your body. Maybe it would be better if it was a Man United washer instead. I wouldn't want to dirty the Liver Bird. I could use it as a teddy. The rest of the pack is great though. I like it."
Jack: "I like the Liverpool toothbrush. I've got a toothbrush but it's not a Liverpool one. I don't really like cleaning my teeth because it's a bit boring but I might be more into it if it was a Liverpool toothbrush. I'd give the soap to my sister as I'm kind like that."

Stella: "I've got the long-sleeve version of this already so this will be cool for when it gets warmer. I've got 'Suarez 7' on my white kit but I might get 'Stella 15' on this one as that's my number in the calendar."
Jack: "This is my favourite Liverpool kit ever. I love the adidas stripes on the arms. If I get a new one for Christmas I might get 'Carroll 9' or 'Suarez 7'."

Stella: "I'm keeping this on. When I get up in the morning, I'm going to wear it. I'm going to wear it to school. I'm going to wear it to bed. I'm going to wear it when it's too small for me. I don't care. I love it."
Jack: "Brilliant! I've wanted one of these for ages because my old one has gone too small. It matches the away kit I've got on and I can wear it when I go training with my football team. Stella, we're going to be walking around in the same stuff though."
Star Cutouts: Suarez, £25

Stella: "I love Luis Suarez! This is going in my room or I'll put it in the lounge as it'll annoy my mum. Do you think he looks ill though? His face looks a little green. This is the best present out of all of them. I'm going to ask for this for Christmas!"
Jack: "This looks so real. I didn't realise he was that tall. It would look great in my bedroom even if my mum moans about it taking up too much space. She supports Everton so she won't like it but I love it. I agree with Stella - this is one of the best presents ever."
Stay tuned to the website later this week to find out which presents the kids picked for their Top 5 gifts this Christmas.
