Marsh frustrated after loss
Mike Marsh couldn't hide his disappointment after seeing his side crash out of the FA Youth Cup after a 3-1 defeat at Swansea City.
Lewis Hatch scored a late consolation for the Reds but they were second best to the Welsh outfit on the night.
"It was a reality check for us, they worked really hard to keep us out and we lacked our usual quality on the pitch," Marsh told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"You know teams will always work hard against Liverpool and get men behind the ball, but we just couldn't break them down, and when you don't play well.
"We conceded a couple bad opening goal that was easily avoidable and the other two they scored were disappointing and it summed up our performance on the night.
"We are better than that and it was disappointing. We got what we deserved at the end of the day and that was nothing."
