'It's Stevie v Kenny in our house'
In the last starlet in profile of 2011, we speak to Conor Coady ahead of tonight's reserve team showdown with Manchester United.
The versatile midfielder has enjoyed a fantastic year, excelling for both the second-string and U18s as well as earning a place on the first-team bench.
Here he tells us about Raheem Sterling's 'circus acts', what he wants for Christmas and why the Kenny or Stevie debate continues to rage in the Coady household.

Who would win at 'skill skool'?
It's got to be Raheem Sterling. It'd be between him and Craig (Roddan) but Raheem would edge it. He can do all the 'circus acts' as we call it, so it'd definitely be him.
If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'd probably go back to the Caribbean where we went on our end of season tour with the U18s. It was a fantastic place to be and I'd love to go back to Buccament Bay at some point. All of the lads thought it was great.
Last album downloaded?
Drake's 'Take Care'. It's a good album and the one getting the most play in my car at the moment.
Last film watched?
Knowing. It's a film starring Nicolas Cage. It was on Film4 the other night. I'm still trying to get my head around it to be honest! I'd probably give it four out of five stars on the Coady scale of top films!
Favourite TV show?
I've got a few. If I have to pick one, then I'll say that my taste has changed since the last time I was asked that and go for the Inbetweeners. It's hilarious. I saw the film at the cinema and it was quality. Hopefully my mum will get it for me for Christmas!
Worst dresser?
There are a few boys in contention. We went to San Carlo last week and I was giving Kristjan Emilsson stick for having a bad dress sense. But I'll go for Andre Wisdom as he's got a fair bit of bad gear.
Worst taste in music?
Andre or Michael Ngoo. They listen to all this gangster stuff. It's music that is popular down in London - but they need to realise they are up here in Liverpool now!
Best moment in football so far?
Making the first-team bench for both the Prague and Birmingham games last season. I scored in pre-season and it was great being on that tour of Asia, but you can't beat being involved in the competitive matches. It was a great moment for me and something I always dreamed of doing. Warming up in front of the Kop during the Birmingham game was a buzz and something I hope to do again in the not too distant future.
Worst or most embarrassing moment relating to football...
I haven't really had an embarrassing moment. The worst was probably missing a penalty against Everton last year. As you could probably tell, it killed me.
Which three teammates would be the most useful to get trapped on a desert island with - and why?
Ryan McLaughlin, Raheem Sterling and Brad Smith. They all have a laugh and if you are stranded you've got to try and enjoy yourself, so it would be those three and me!
If you could take one of the lads to have their haircut, who would it be?
Michael Roberts. It's grown pretty wild and long now. It needs a good trim!
Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?
All day long it's Suso. He's always there, no matter what time of day it is; there he is checking his hair and making sure he looks the way he wants to.
Best ever player in your position?
Without a doubt it has to be Stevie G. I've trained with him and I've learned so much from him, but it's not just that. I've watched him play from an early age and you can't take your eyes off him. He's just an outstanding footballer and leads by example. He's one of the best players ever to play for Liverpool Football Club. I have a running argument with my Dad and he thinks the best ever is Kenny Dalglish. I didn't have the privilege of watching the King play in the flesh, so it has to be Stevie G for me - unless the boss reads this of course!
Best thing about playing for Liverpool FC?
Just coming in every day. Playing with these lads and learning from the staff here because they are all great people. It just makes you feel at home. There's no doubt in my mind this is the place to be.
And just finally, the reserves face Man United today. You've been on a good run of late but this always holds extra spice doesn't it?
Yes, of course. Any Scouser growing up in Liverpool looks out for the game, so it's massive for me and all of the boys are looking forward to it. Obviously there will be players on both sides who faced each other in the Youth Cup last year and that gives it some added spice too. We are still quite hurt from that to be honest because we should have got the result. But at the end of the day, that's how it went and they went on to win the trophy. Hopefully we'll get the performance and result we are looking for this time around.
