In tweets: Lucas watches Reds win
Despite being thousands of miles away in person, Lucas Leiva was at Anfield in spirit on Friday night - and the Brazil midfielder used his personal Twitter page to tweet his thoughts throughout Liverpool's 3-1 victory over Newcastle United.
The No.21 kept fans all over the world entertained and updated as he offered his own take on the events unfolding back in L4.
From his disappointment at Daniel Agger's early own goal, to his joy at goals from Craig Bellamy and Steven Gerrard and the individual performances of his teammates, Lucas was clearly caught up in the action as Kenny Dalglish's side recorded a fine win.
