How would you like to play your part in shaping the pre-match and half-time atmosphere at Anfield and, in turn, help inspire the players before kick-off and the second half?

We're giving you the chance to do just that ahead of every home game this season - continuing when Stoke City visit L4 on Saturday.

Having listened to match day feedback from supporters, the club are this season asking fans to submit their playlists to be played inside Anfield before 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and immediately prior to the teams emerging for the second half.

No city in the UK is as synonymous with pop music as Liverpool and even as a club, with match-going musicians regularly attending games and the Kop playing their own part, the link between the music and football worlds has always been there. This new initiative aims to build on that link and actually hand over the decision on what should be played to the supporters themselves.

Playlist One

Fans to submit three songs to be played back-to-back immediately before the Barclays Premier League anthem, which is then followed by YNWA. The fan whose playlist is selected will be name-checked by George or Pete before the playlist starts in the ground and also identified in a news story on this website.

Playlist Two

Fans to submit two songs to be played back-to-back immediately before the teams come out for the second half. (The time available here will be determined by any half-time activity - and may result in only one song being played on occasion.)

You can submit a playlist by emailing playlists@liverpoolfc.tv, posting it on twitter with the #anfieldplaylist, leaving it as a comment at the bottom of this story or on our official Liverpool FC Facebook page.

With Liverpool supporters well known for their love of music and football, we want you to feel as involved as you possibly can be in shaping your own match day experience inside the ground.

The deadline for all playlists to be submitted for the Stoke game is 10am on Thursday, January 12. Once all the playlists are in, two shortlists - one for the three-track playlist and one for the two-track playlist - will be drawn up by an LFC club panel and put to a public vote on this website.
