Enrique's top four target
Jose Enrique is remaining confident of a top four finish this season but has warned that Liverpool must turn draws into wins if they are to achieve their Champions League target.
The Reds' no. 3 has already won plenty of fans over with his own brand of powerful and aggressive, defensive play since arriving from Newcastle in August.
And now he believes that Kenny Dalglish's side can revitalise their push for fourth spot with a victory at the Reebok against Bolton on Saturday.
"I think [Bolton] are in a bad position and they could start a little bit nervous. We have to try to take this chance to win the game.
"I think it's coming [to the point] with league games now that we have to win if we want to finish in the top four at the end of the season.
"Of course, we have a chance - there are many games and many points still to play for and we can only keep trying.
"We have played eighteen games already and we have seen that every team can beat every team here in the Premier League that's why it's the best league in the world.
"But at the moment we are playing better away than at home."
Enrique put in another solid performance and was Liverpool's most consistent passer during a goalless draw against Stoke at Anfield on Saturday.
And while the Spaniard believes Liverpool's performance on the day warranted a victory, he insisted that the players and the manager are not spending too much time reflecting on points dropped, choosing instead to look forwards.
"I think we deserved a win but these things have happened a lot this season in many games at home and we have had too many draws," he said.
"I think every team at home has to win 70/80% of their matches and so of course we were disappointed but the game has already gone and we have to think about the next one.
"We don't talk about that much because we don't have to - we know what happened and it's more important that we try and find a solution.
"We are still trying and we are playing well but, at the moment, the goal is not coming."
