Coyle: Andy is outstanding
Owen Coyle believes the 'outstanding' Andy Carroll will soon start reproducing his very best form in a Liverpool shirt.
The Bolton manager wants his defenders to be wary of the England forward when Liverpool arrive at the Reebok on Saturday tea-time.
Carroll has four goals to his name so far in 2011-12 - but Coyle wouldn't be surprised if that tally rises significantly during the coming months.
"I don't think there is any doubt he will reproduce that form," said Coyle.
"He is an outstanding young player. His quality is unquestioned. We have to make sure he doesn't show it against us."
The Reds are looking for their fifth straight Reebok Stadium win, but whatever the result, Coyle expects his opponents to be challenging for honours over the next few seasons.
"Kenny Dalglish is used to winning trophies," he said.
"Liverpool will deem it as a long time since their last championship but in that period they have still won trophies, including the Champions League.
"Now they are on the verge of reaching the Carling Cup final, when they would be big favourites given a team from the Championship will be the opposition.
"There is no doubt Liverpool will always be amongst the honours."
