Bolton fan Gareth Couperthwaite discusses David Ngog, Luis Suarez and match day pubs ahead of this evening's game at the Reebok.

How are Bolton fans feeling about this one?

I'm feeling confident, and judging by my twitter timeline, so are a few more Bolton fans. Last season we were in the game until the late winner from Maxi Rodriguez. Though we were beaten pillar to post in August, and we haven't picked up a point against Liverpool since 2006.

What's going wrong for you this season?

In a nutshell, losing Elmander and Sturridge in the summer has cost us goals. We're also missing Stuart Holden badly. His absence has made the Bolton midfield look paper thin at times. Kevin Davies has been ineffective this season and doesn't seem to have the required chemistry with Klasnic or Ngog.

How will Owen Coyle play it?

Who knows? Coyle has played 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 of late. He played Ngog up front by himself at Old Trafford, and apart from some poor defending, Bolton played quite well.

Ngog - discuss...

I like him, his performances have epitomised Bolton's season - he's got better as the season's gone on. He did seem to be out of sync with the rest of the team at the beginning, but seems to have grown into his position in the team. He's played as a second striker, which I think suits him being the player to get into the action, in contrast to Klasnic, who is just a goal threat. This is why he was outstanding against Everton and Wigan. His hard work helped other players score the goals, and I feel he'll come good by the end of the season. Although other fans don't agree with me, they see him losing possession and get on his back.

Players we should worry about?

The cliche is Ngog - returning striker to haunt his old team. But I think Mark Davies could be the outstanding player for Bolton. His mazy runs and assists could give Liverpool problems.

Liverpool players you rate?

You are blessed to have some amazing players. Gerrard's cameo against Newcastle proved he's still up there with the best. Jose Enrique is fantastic and any team in Europe would happily have him. I enjoy seeing Bellamy play and I think Suarez is outstanding. In the last 12 months he has been the international player of the year, in my opinion.

Best and worst thing about a trip to the Reebok?

The best thing is the outstanding transport links - close to a train station and a major motorway. The worst thing is the roads around the ground are jammed for 30 minutes before and after games. There are a few pubs around the ground, but nothing you'd consider a classic match day pub, ie The Vine near the Hawthornes. Most of them are locals, hotel bars and restaurant bars. The designated away pub is on a roundabout with an annoying walk to the ground (through a Tesco car park and along the motorway slip road).

Best and worst thing about being a Bolton fan?

The best thing is that it's a local club. Bolton is owned by a Boltonian who lives in the Isle of Man; he's invested money into the club and is in for the long haul. The fanbase is local, people feel a family connection to the club. The worst thing is, as much as Liverpool fans talk about a league championship drought, Bolton have never been league champions in our entire history. An FA Cup win 54 years ago is the last thing Bolton won and in my lifetime I'll probably never see Bolton win the Premier League.

Score prediction...

Bolton will win 2-1. Klasnic, Ngog and Bellamy with the goals.
