8 great LFC Connect features
Liverpool FC recently launched a brand new mobile app for iPhone – LFC Connect – but do you know exactly what you can do with the FREE download?
LFC Connect is your ultimate mobile link to all things LFC on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and The Kop.
Not only that, it allows you to find and communicate with fellow Kopites all over the globe or nearby by utilising your location.
But don't take our word for it, here are eight brilliant ways you can use LFC Connect...
Document your support
All activity you perform within four hours of each Premier League match within the app, such as photo uploading, tagging friends and tweeting, is saved in your unique LFC passport alongside results from Liverpool's matches, providing you with a timeline of how you've supported the Reds throughout the season.
Tweet nearby Kopites
LFC Connect can use your location to find out which of your fellow Kopites are tweeting close to you with the 'Near Me' feature, enabling you to view their profiles, follow and message them.
Retweet the Reds
LFC has an extensive number of accounts on Twitter - from players and staff, to club media presenters and journalists. LFC Connect has compiled a list of the accounts, as well as those of respected pundits and journalists, in one easy-to-read tab, allowing you to tweet and follow them directly from the app.
Use Facebook
Keep up to date with the latest official LFC Facebook updates and like and comment on them directly via LFC Connect. You can also update your own status using the app.
Match action as it happens
When Liverpool are in action, the match timeline will allow you to keep an eye on key events throughout the game. Scroll through the timeline to view tweets relating from each event and add your own.
Find a fellow Red
The Fan Finder feature allows you to locate fellow Kopites in your area. Click on a drawing pin on the map to view their social media profiles and connect.
Stamp your passport
Four hours before and after a Premier League game, make sure you check in at the game to receive a stamp on your passport and keep a log of matches you've attended or watched and where.
Access the Kop
Connect directly with Liverpool FC's very own official social media network, the Kop, via the app. View all the latest videos, photos and blogs on the go.
