Pepe set for dual landmarks
Pepe Reina is set to play his 350th game for Liverpool in all competitions and make his 250th league appearance for the club against Wigan Athletic today.
He will become the fifth 'keeper to reach 350 league and cup appearances for the Reds and the sixth to play 250 times in league football.
No custodian has ever kept more clean sheets in their first 250 league games for Liverpool than the Spain international.
Ray Clemence kept 116, Bruce Grobbelaar 111, Elisha Scott 90, Tommy Lawrence 75 and Arthur Riley 47. Reina has 119 to his name in 249 games.
