SG: We have a responsibility
Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool and Everton have a responsibility to make sure the FA Cup semi-final is remembered for all the right reasons ahead of Sunday's 23rd anniversary of Hillsborough.
The teams will hold a minute's silence prior to kick-off at Wembley and both sets of players will wear black armbands in memory of the 96.
Gerrard said: "I think there's a big responsibility on the players and the supporters that this game gets played in the right manner and that it's a fair game and a good game, and that after the game everyone's talking about the good things that happened in the game.
"It does fall on this particular weekend and I think everyone needs to play in respect of that."
