Goals from Jordan Ibe and Jordan Lussey helped Liverpool U18s to a 2-0 win over Wolves in their final home game of the season at the Academy on Tuesday.
Mike Marsh's charges were full value for their victory and they now hope to finish the campaign with another win when they travel to Newcastle on Saturday.
Former Wycombe striker Ibe headed the young Reds in front three minutes after the restart when he glanced home Lussey's superb delivery from the left.
Skipper Lussey made it 2-0 when he latched onto Nacho's pass, kept his composure and slotted home.
