The view from West Brom
West Brom supporter Ben Ruhrmund provides the view from the opposition and tells us which Liverpool players he'd love to see turn out for the Baggies.
You have a chance of getting a result at Anfield because...
We are safe, relaxed and coming of the back of a solid performance against Blackburn. We also have been better away from home than at The Hawthorns this season and have put to rest a few long winless runs against various sides - maybe we can do it at Anfield as well, it's not impossible.
How's Roy Hodgson doing?
Very well. We are considerably stronger in defence than in previous PL seasons and still carry a threat going forward. He seems to get the best out of very underrated players and also seems to keep a real harmony in the squad. Everyone knows their job and seemingly cares about putting in a shift every week. He's given us a chance to be top dogs in the Midlands for the first time in my lifetime and for that I am delighted with him.
How will he play it on Sunday?
Not sure. We generally are at our best when we try to soak up pressure and then counter at pace using Marc Antoine Fortune as an outlet. However, I believe he is injured so I would think we will look to hit the flanks using the pace of Odemwingie and/or Long. If we concede first we can be a little toothless at times, though.
Players we should worry about?
If he turns up, Odemwingie is a class act - I just wish he was a little more consistent. Dorrans is beginning to show the form that made him a superstar in the Championship, he delivers a good dead ball and is capable of that little bit of quality to get you/create you a goal. Also Ben Foster and the defence have been brilliant and are worthy of a mention.
Weak links?
No one obvious. I think the Albion fans just appreciate the fact that we have a team that is run on a strict budget that is holding its own in the PL. I don't think any of the players have really let us down at all this season and the dead wood that we did have has been moved on by Roy.
Liverpool players you'd love to see turn out for West Brom?
Gerrard in a heartbeat. One of the best midfielders in the world for the last 10 years. I also have respect for Bellamy - he is one of those players who winds up the opposition but there is no doubting his abilities. Suarez is also a player of undoubted ability.
If you were West Brom manager for a day...
I would congratulate the lads on a decent season and try my level best to get into Peter Odemwingie's head and see what on earth makes him tick. I would also look to beg/borrow/steal some money from our Chairman in order to tie down Ben Foster on a permanent deal and look to spend some money on another striker.
Favourite thing about an away trip?
The anticipation and sampling the pubs and the banter with opposition fans. Liverpool is always a great city to go out in and I'm sure you will hear a few dulcet Black Country accents throughout the weekend.
Prediction?
2-2, Albion to roar into a 2 nil lead before being pegged back by a brace from Andy Carroll. I would be very happy with a point if I'm honest.
