Reds fans who ran 76 miles in memory of the 96 people who lost their lives at Hillsborough will make a special presentation at Anfield tomorrow.

The six runners and their team will hand over a cheque for £15,000 to representatives of the Hillsborough Family Support Group and the Hillsborough Justice Campaign at half-time on the pitch during Liverpool's Barclays Premier League match against West Brom.

The runners began their journey from the Leppings Lane end at Hillsborough on Thursday, April 12 and arrived home to a warm welcome at the Shankly Gateway two days later.

Dom Williams will be among the team who will make the presentation to Margaret Aspinall and Steve Kelly tomorrow. He was inspired to organise the run by a trip to the Liverpool FC museum where he saw the Hillsborough mosaic.

And after completing the gruelling 76 miles last Saturday, Dom told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It was very emotional coming onto the pitch and running into the stadium.

"I'm massively pleased to get this reception. I didn't think this many people would be here and it's helped us. It's been brilliant."

His fellow runner Earle Jackson added: "I'm proud of every single one of the team who has achieved this. Not just the six runners, but the whole support team, the physios, the drivers - everyone who has looked after us. I'm just proud of everybody, we've all done it together as a team."
