Carra to sign new LFC book
Jamie Carragher will be signing new official LFC book Liverpool FC Heroes this Thursday, April 26.
Carragher will be at the Liverpool One Club Store between 5-6pm - and we'd ask anyone who wants to go along to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Liverpool Heroes is a unique portrait of what life is really like playing for one of the world's biggest football clubs.
Writer and female journalist Ragnhild Lund Ansnes has spent two years getting to know many of the greatest legends who played for the Reds during the past 50 years.
The result is a ground-breaking official club book which, for the first time, delves beneath the surface to tell the human story of the man behind the player. Never before have so many Anfield heroes opened up so freely about their personal lives in a book:
- David Fairclough talks about how the Anfield family have supported him recently in his darkest hour;
- Phil Thompson breaks his silence about how a 15-year disagreement with a teammate and fellow European Cup-winning captain was finally healed;
- Phil Neal reveals for the first time the personal sacrifice he made for Liverpool FC, and the effect on his family;
- Robbie Fowler relives his journey from altar boy to 'God' and how he coped with the pressures of being a local hero;
- More revelations follow from Ian Rush, Kevin Keegan, John Barnes, Bruce Grobbelaar, Ian Callaghan, Roy Evans, Alan Kennedy and modern day giant Jamie Carragher.
Liverpool Heroes is a revealing series of portraits that will show you a side of the legends you have never seen before, with pictures including many from players' own personal collections.
Liverpool FC Heroes is on sale now, £16.99, available from all official club stores and by clicking here.
