After the conclusion of the Premier League's 20th season, Liverpoolfc.tv is asking fans to name the players that would make up their LFC dream team of the last two decades.

The Reds have played in 772 matches since the formation of the division back in 1992 and produced some of the competition's most spectacular matches and outstanding performers.

Kicking-off our vote, which will run over the next few weeks before the results are revealed in June, we start with the goalkeepers - and we want you to decide who has been our top custodian in the league over the last 20 years.

Here are the contenders...

Pepe Reina (254 league apps 2005 - )

Pepe Reina took over the gloves from Jerzy Dudek just two months after Istanbul - but the decision of then manager Rafael Benitez was soon vindicated as his compatriot went on to send a whole host of long-standing Anfield records crashing. In his first season, Reina helped the Reds to an FA Cup triumph with three saves in a penalty shootout with West Ham and the 'keeper was also the spot-kick hero in the 2007 Champions League semi-final with Chelsea. Now with 335 appearances to his name for Liverpool, Reina is firmly established as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Jerzy Dudek (127 league apps 2001 - 2007)

Jerzy Dudek ensured he'll forever be etched into Anfield folklore thanks to his heroics in the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul. The big Pole in our goal not only produced a quite unbelievable extra-time save, he also saved two penalties in the shoot-out success over AC Milan to secure the European Cup for a fifth time. Dudek was also man of the match in the 2003 Worthington Cup final success over Manchester United. In league terms, Jerzy helped us to a second-place finish in 2002.

Sander Westerveld (75 league apps 1999 - 2001)

The Dutchman became the most expensive goalkeeper in British football when he joined for a reported fee of £4million during the summer of 1999. He emerged the hero of Liverpool's Worthington Cup final victory over Birmingham City, making the match-winning save from Andy Johnson in the penalty shoot-out. He also played an integral part in the FA and UEFA Cup victories over Arsenal and Alaves before making way for Jerzy Dudek and Chris Kirkland. In total, Westerveld represented the Reds 103 times.

Chris Kirkland (25 league apps 2001 - 2006)

Liverpool moved to sign promising stopper Chris Kirkland from Coventry City in August 2001 on the same day Jerzy Dudek arrived. The England stopper played his part in one of greatest fight-backs of all time against Olympiacos in 2004-05 en-route to Istanbul glory, though injuries blighted his time with the Reds.

David James (214 league apps 1992 - 1999)

David James made 213 consecutive appearances for Liverpool between 1994 and 1998 and went on to become an England regular. A 1995 League Cup was the only medal he collected during his time at Anfield, and though his Reds career was a series of ups and downs, there was no doubting his shot-stopping abilities.
